STAR Announces New Sales Blog

Sales Training And Results, Inc. (STAR) is pleased to announce our new Sales Blog, which has been added to our web site. Whether you are an experienced sales professional or manager, our intention is to use the blogs as an interactive way to dialog with you about sales & business issues. We also will use the blogs to recommend resources such as good books, articles, and websites on selling.
We just posted our first two blogs. The first one talks about the trend toward team selling, and is titled “A Group Is Not A Team”. We make some recommendations about team selling, and also ask for your opinion on what does it take to create a high-performing sales team.
The second blog is titled “The International Language of Selling: Characteristics of Top Sales Performers”, and is based on some observations from recent overseas sales training assignments. During those trips, it was fascinating to dialog with sales managers and salespeople from various countries. Notably, there were some universally valued attributes, such as the desire to win, that were cited consistently. We’d love to hear your thoughts about similarities and differences in selling in the U.S. versus other countries. Please use this blog as a way to share your thoughts.
STAR intends to post blogs a few times each month, and hopes that you will use the blog as a way to network with other sales professionals and to stay current on trends in the sales world. We welcome your comments and contributions!
